Thunder Spoon wasn't designed in a boardroom—it was born on the water.Thunder Spoon has been professionally designed, built and tested by BC fishermen. Professional guide and host of Sportsman Channel's Connect Fishing Experiences Josh Statham collaborated with fishing buddy Aaron Boone of Alpha Design to come up with the ultimate spoon. The lively action imitates bait fish with incredible success. Patterns and designs were rigorously designed from concept to catch, and only the best quality parts were used. With help from Craig McCahon of Designer Signs, Mike Bassit of Fix Auto, Richard Wilby of Spitfire Tackle and countless local fishermen (Mike Seregely, Ken Statham, Chase Salisbury, Andrew Luch, Cole and Nico Sansalone to name just a few) a year-long trial of products, patterns and colours led to the Canadian-made Thunder Spoon that fishermen rely on today."If salmon is your passion, you need Thunder Spoon in your tackle box." - Josh Statham

About Josh
Born and raised on BC's Sunshine Coast, Josh's passion for fishing started young with his Dad and Grandpa in the 16' Hourston. Today, Josh is glad to pass that tradition on to his daughters, and share it with his guests as a local guide and with the viewing public on his show Connect Fishing Experiences. Fishing is about connection; with the environment, people, and yourself. Guiding and hosting naturally progressed to tackle and Thunder Spoon was born.
